Sony Hack: A Timeline

I found the article in full detail of the Sony hack if you guys are interested. I have been a little out of the loop about the whole situation but this brought me up to speed. Thanks @deadline

Deadline

Refresh for latest… The cyber attack on Sony Pictures Entertainment continues to cripple the company, embarrassing its top executives and those who do business with them, as e-mails and confidential information are sifted and selectively published by anyone with access to the hackers’ dump. Here is how the story broke, day-by-day. We’ll continue to update as it unfolds.

Day 1: Monday, November 24

At Sony Sony Guardians of PeacePictures Entertainment’s headquarters in Culver City, a typical week begins. The first sign of a digital break-in comes early that morning, when the image of a stylized skull with long skeletal fingers flashes on every employee’s computer screen at the same time, accompanied by a threatening message warning that “This is just the beginning.” The hackers say “we’ve obtained all your internal data,” and warn that if Sony doesn’t “obey” their demands, they will release the company’s “top secrets.”

‘The Interview’ Faces Uncertain Future Internationally

Deadline

American cinemagoers intent on watching Sony’s The Interview on Christmas Day could get their wish even if theater chains do decide to pull the film. There’s only one catch though: they’ll have to travel to Baghdad to do so.

The film is set to open day and date with the U.S. on December 25 in Iraq and Lebanon. Given that both countries have experienced their fair share of conflict, it comes as no surprise that a comedy starring Seth Rogen and James Franco is hardly ruffling any feathers. “We don’t expect any problems with it over here,” said one local source. “It is a different matter in the Gulf, though, where we might have issues with the censorship board. They don’t like things which are too politically sensitive but we’ll know for sure in the next few weeks.”

While Sony’s plans for the domestic release remain up in the air following the decision…

Animals at Busch Gardens

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share these beautiful photos of the animals at Busch Gardens when I went there last I saw a lot of animals that I normally don’t see close up. My son loves the lions and he got so close to the glass and was really brave to get that close even though there isn’t a way for them to get through. It’s still a little scary.

The funny part about this visit was while we were viewing the lions, two women started getting in a verbal fight over taking a picture. It was entertaining to say the least but the language these two were using were offensive in front of their own kids. But the lions turned and looked at them like, hey I thought we were in the cage?

Hope you enjoy the pictures and my story.

Michael Keaton Dons Feathered Tights In Faux ‘Birdman Returns’ Trailer: Hot Video

Awesome news for Birdman Returns.

Deadline

1992 was the year that Michael Keaton wore the Dark Knight’s mask for a second time in Batman Returns, but coincidentally it was also the year that his on-screen alter ego Riggan Thomson donned the beak for Birdman Returns. In an upcoming AwardLine interview, Keaton says that when he discussed the script for Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) with director Alejandro G. Inarritu, “I remember us spending no time about the material being reflective about me personally. We jumped immediately into other discussions. I’m sure at some point we said, we gotta figure this out….We discussed what was happening to artists, to human beings, a person’s ego.  This is more about Alejandro than it is about me, Ed Norton or Emma Stone…It’s about the effects on an artist, how they question things. Alejandro was brave with the material; he’s not coy and comes out says why he was…
